For those who like to travel around with a portable battery that can charge their phones, tablet, laptop, or other electronic devices, this is a great adapter to hook it up. The adapter is a lightning-style plug that can charge a small internal battery that charges your phone, tablet, or laptop.
The charger works only with the firewire ports on your phone, tablet, or laptop. It won’t charge your USB cable, external flash drive, or any other port that plugs directly into the wall.
If you don’t have a lightning-style plug, this adapter can charge any port that uses the firewire standard. Just remember to always use it in a wall outlet.
The adapter will charge your phone and tablet, but it wont charge your laptop or any external devices that plug directly into the wall. If your phone calls the Play Store, you will need to purchase a Lightning cable. Lightning cables are not the same as the ones found in your local electronics store. You will receive a Lightning cable with a mini USB slot at the end. The Lightning cable itself is not an adapter. It’s just a cable.
