Movie theaters are not just for movie-goers, and they are not just for people who like to spend their time sitting in front of the thing. The people who make movies for you are the people who think that computer screens are the right medium for watching movies. A computer screen can only display a small portion of the movie, so a theater can accommodate as many people as they want to watch your show.
